Jim Adams, Managing Director, The Advisory Board Company
Mr. Adams leads the research for the Advisory Board’s IT Strategy Council. Previously, he was executive director of IBM’s Center for Health Care Management, focused on global thought leadership. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Adams was a senior leader at Healthlink and Gartner and has C-suite experience in a variety of industries. Mr. Adams serves on national committees and advisory boards for health care organizations and is a frequent speaker on strategic health care IT topics, including accountable care, meaningful use, and ICD-10. Mr. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Texas Tech University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
