Micky Tripathi is the president and chief Executive Officer of the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative (MAeHC), a non profit collaboration of 34 leading Massachusetts organizations. He is also a member of the board of Directors of MA-SHARE a community utility service for state-wide clinical data exchange in massachusetts. Mr Tripathi is also the co-chair of the Health Information Exchange Workgroup, one of three subgroups of the Health IT Policy Committee which is charged with making recommendations about health information exchange to the Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Prior to joining MAeHC, Mr Tripathi was a manager in the Boston office of the Boston Consulting Group, a leading strategy and management consulting firm. While at BCG, he served as the founding President and CEO of the Indiana Health Information Exchange, an Indianapolis-based non profit company partnered with the Regenstrief Institute to create a state-wide health information infrastructure in the state of Indiana. As a manager in BCG’s health care practice, Mr Tripathi also served a variety of US and International clients in the non-profit sector as well as in the bioinformatics, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He holds a PHD in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University and an AB in political science from Vassar College. Prior to receiving his PHD, he was a senior operations research analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Washington DC for which he received the secretary of Defense Distinguished Civillian Service award.

Deven McGraw is the Director of the Health Privacy ar CDT. The project is focused on developing an dpromoting workable privacy and security protections for electronic personal health information. Ms McGraw is active in efforts to advance the adoption and implementation of health information technology and electroninc health information exchange to improve healthcare. She was one of three persons appointed by Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health & Human SErvices (HHS), to serve on the Health Information Technology (HIT) Policy Committe, a federal advisory committe established in the American Recovery an Reinvestment Act of 2009.

She also served on two key workgroups of the American Health INformation Community (AHIC), the federal advisory body established by HHS in the Bush Administration to develop recommendations on how to facilitate use of health information technology to improve health. Specifically she co chaired the Confidentiality, Privacy and Security Workgroup and was a member of the Personalized Health Care Workgroup. She also served on the Policy Steering Committee of the ehealth Initiative and now serves on its Leadership Committee. She is also on the Steering Group of the Markle Foundation Connecting for Health multi-stakeholder initiative.
Ms McGraw has a strong background in health care policy. Prior to joining CDT, Ms McGraw was the Chief Operating Officer of the National Partnership for Women & Families, providing strategic direction and oversight for all the organizations core program areas, including the promotion of initiatives to improve healthcare quality. Ms McGraw also was an associate in the public policy group at Patton Boggs, LLP and in the ehealth care group at Ropes & Gray. She also served as Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor of Massachusetts and taught in the Federal Legislation Clinic at the Georgetown University Law center.

He is Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital; Professor of Medicine, harvard Medical School; Professor of Health Policy and Management, Harvard School of Public health and director, cLinical and Quality Analysis , PArtners Healthcare System. he was elected to the institute of Medicine the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the Association of American Physicians, The American College of Medical Informatics and is Chairman of the Board of the American Medical Informatics Association.

Janet Marchibroda is the Chief Healthcare Officer for IBM where she is responsible for driving policy and strategy for improving health and healthcare through the use of information technology and exchange. She joined IBM in April 2009 from ehealth Initiative (eHI), where she served as the founding Chief Executive Officer. eHI is an independent, non profit multi-stakeholder organization whose mission is to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare through information and information technology. eHI engages clinicians, consumers, employers, health plans, health IT companies, hospitals, laboratories, manufacturers, pharmacies and state and community-based organizations to reach agreement on and drive the adoption of common principles, policies, strategies and actions for improving health and healthcare through information technology in a way that is responsible, sustainable, responsive to stakeholder needs – particularly, patients and which builds and maintains the public’s trust.

While at eHI, Marchibroda served as the founding Executive Director of Connecting for Health – a public – private sector initiative funded and led by the Markle Foundation and supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation- which is designed to catalyze actions on a national basis to drive electronic connectivity and create an interconnected, electronic health information infrastructure. She co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for a Bertelsman AG Subsidiary, which focuses on providing electronic health information infrastructure. 
Marchibroda served as the chief Operating Officer of the National Committee for Quality Assurance an organization devoted to evaluating and improving the quality of healthcare for Americans – where she was responsible for accreditation of healthcare organizations, education programs, the national HEDIS database, electronic information products, strategic planning, human resources, information technology and administration. 
She is considered an expert on using health IT to improve health and healthcare, serves on several boards and Steering Groups in Healthcare and was recognized in 2005 as one of the Top 25 women in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare Magazine and in 2006 for the federal Computer week Top 100 Award. She holds a B.S. in commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA with a concentration in organization development from george Washington University.

Vish Sankaran was appointed Director of the Federal Health Architecture (FHA) program in the Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in March 2007. As FHA director, he has driven collaboration among federal agencies to advance the adoption of interoperable health IT in order to allow for the secure exchange of health information within the federal government, and with state, tribal, and local governments and the private sector.  In February, 2009, Mr. Sankaran was named as one of the Federal 100 by the editors of Federal Computer Week.

Tom Williams serves as Executive Director of the Integrated Healthcare Association promoting quality improvement, accountability and affordability of healthcare in California. He is engaged in management of HIA’s programs and initiatives, including the statewide pay – for – performance program, medical technology value-based purchasing initiative:and healthcare affordability. Mr Williams has extensive executive-level experience in medical group management, managed healthcare and health insurance including 15 years as an executive at Aetna. He has served on numerous private company and non profit boards involved in healthcare and the environment. Mr Williams received a B.S in environmental biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and earned his Masters in Business Administration and Public Health from the University of Hawaii. He is currently a doctorol candidate at the University of California at Berkeley in public health with a focus on quality improvement in healthcare.

Lori Hack is the principle and CEO of Object Health, a management consulting group that assists healthcare organizations and communities with leveraging health information to improve operational efficiencies and clinical health outcomes. Among her current projects, Ms Hack is leading the privacy and security efforts for the Long Beach Health Network which has recently received a Federal grant to develop a Health Information Exchange in Long Beach California. Additionally, Ms Hack is currently serving as Program Manager for the state technology initiative in the area of Mental Health information Technology throughout the California Mental Health Services Act. She also serves as Program Liaison for the California Privacy and Security Advisory Board on behalf of Implementation under the direction of Secretary Belshe. 
Previously Ms Hack served as Interim CEO for the California Regional Health Information Organization (CalRHIO) and Executive Director for Health Technology Center (HealthTech). She currently serves on the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) Privacy Expert Panel, directed by Secretary Leavitt of Health and Human Services.

As president of Kaiser Permanente Colorado, Donna Lynne has overseen the implementation of electronic health record, KP HealthConnect. Kaiser Permanente is a pioneer in health-IT. Today, according to NEJM, only 4% of physicians in the outpatient setting have fully functional EHRs; Kaiser Permanente is marking more than 10 years of paper free health care. In 2006 the health plan took it’s EHR to the next level when it launched MY Health Manager a tool that allows patients to manage their care online. MY Health Manager provides patients with access to online, schedule appointments, order prescriptions etc. Most recently, Kaiser Permanante Colorado received the 2009 Disease management Association of America Innovation Award for it’s pioneering use of health-IT tools to reduce risk of mortality for patients with heart disease by 76%. KP has launched two major intraoperablity initiatives in Colorado – CORHIO and Careeverywhere both partnerships are between the health plan Kaiser Permanante and local hospitals to exchange electronic medical data with goals of improving safety, increasing quality, decreasing waste and redundancy and lowering costs.

Joan Henneberry, Executive Director, Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing, leads the agency responsible for managing public health insurance programs and including Medicaid and Child Health Plus (CHP+). She is a senior health policy advisor to the govenor, developing and implementing health reform policies and inititatives. Prior to the cabinet appointment, she worked in the private sector after spending seven years at the National Govenors Association providing consultation to states on healthcare services and financing, cost containment and emerging policy issues. Joan spent 13 years at teh Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO), and serves on the Executive Committee for NASHP.
