New hope for telehealth bill in the Senate?
Telehealth legislation aimed at rural connectivity was re-introduced by Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and John Thune (R-SD). This marks the fifth attempt at passage after most recent being effectively killed by “referral to committee.”
“By expanding the use of innovative home care technology, this legislation will make health care more efficient and will allow seniors to stay in their homes longer without jeopardizing their health, safety or access to health care professionals.” said Senator Klobuchar.
