Laura Groschen is the Vice President of Optum Technology’s Government Solutions business. She is responsible for providing technology consulting, capabilities, and solutions to our government clients.
Ms. Groschen joined UnitedHealth Group in 2012 and was accountable for the enterprise delivery of all compliance programs, such as HealthCare Reform, ICD-10, and EOB Transformation. Ms. Groschen’s team has served as the Optum engagement lead for the State exchange assessments, established the overall program structure, mobilized resources and led the on-going remediation and long-term option efforts for our government clients.
Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Ms. Groschen was a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Corporation where she served in a number of leadership positions over twenty years. There she established an enterprise Program Management Office and a global remittance business. Prior to Wells Fargo, Ms. Groschen was accountable for the Financial Services and Government Services practice at KPMG.
Ms. Groschen has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management in Business Administration and Management Information Systems. She served a term as the Chair of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board and currently serves on several local community boards.
