Medicaid expansionAARP published a study recently demonstrating that the state of Tennessee would turn every dollar they spent on the proposed Medicaid expansion into another $30 for the state.

The study was commissioned to examine the choice whether or not the Medicaid expansion would be appropriate for the state and was presented to Gov. Bill Haslam and members of the state Senate as well as the House.

Haslam’s administration stated that the governor will make a decision whether or not to participate in the expansion by the end of this month.
