Dominick Bizzarro leads the development and implementation of business strategies for InterSystems’ HealthShare offerings. In these efforts, he is focused on providing connected care solutions to an array of clients including state level health information exchange customers, integrated delivery networks, and other regional/national entities. He works collaboratively with customers to define and deliver strategies that provide clinical and economic value while fostering long-term sustainability.
Prior to joining InterSystems, Dominick was the CEO of the Healthcare Information Xchange of NY (HIXNY), an operation health information exchange. Dominick was a Board member of the NY eHealth Collaborative, a member of the Policy and Operations Council, Collaborative Care workgroup, and Co-Chair of the Sustainability workgroup.
Dominick has over twenty-five years of healthcare and information technology experience in a variety of leadership, entrepreneurial, and governance roles. He was an ownership partner at Health Solutions Limited, a healthcare benefits and technology company, and served as Senior Vice President of Business Development. While there he co-founded and served as President of Integrail, the clinical analytics division.
Dominick was a Board Director at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY, serving as Chair of the Quality Committee and as a member on the Executive and Planning Committees. He is a graduate of the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and received his MBA in Health Systems from Union Graduate College, where he serves on the Advisory Council.
